War in Heaven Part 1

This Part of the Origins will be seperated into three different sections; the first will be a look at the minor battles throughout Heaven, and the next two will be a look at the deciding battles, though there will be quite a bit of side-plots inbedded into each.

The Judgements did not know how the army of Oblivion made it into Heaven, but one thing was certain, there was definitely betrayal afoot. But there was no time to wonder, they had to take immediate action! The Dark Army of Oblivion had finally risen from the depths of Hell and the Abyss to take revenge on Heaven for the loss all those years ago.

Ripsol, the man who found the gemstone, which will henceforth be known as the Blood Ruby, clutched at the ruby in the shadows of the dungeon beneath the Tower of Judgement, for he was imprisoned when he began declaring the Gods as heathens. What he did not know, in his absolute madness, was that the ruby was what allowed the Army of Oblivion to enter into Heaven, for it acted as an anti-barrier. And as long as he had the Ruby in his possession, no one would know of its true nature.

The 6 Judgements had no other choice but to join in the battle against the Dark Army and aid in driving them back out of Heaven. Sevaria, the Elder, was clad in the mightiest of armor, wielding the Blade of Trinity, which was the same blade once wielded by the Ancient Lord of the Haven, Atamos. Alexia, The Kind, was clad in the finest glass armor in all of Empyrea, also worn by the 4 other Judgements, wielded the Starlight, a bow enchanted to infuse any arrow it fires with a light pure enough to break through any kind of darkness and barrier. Followed by Grintzfil, The Aviator, Henley, The Wise, Cortania, The Brave, and Lokaptal, the Humble, Sevaria lead the way to what could possibly be their doom.

The battle outside was one-sided; the Army of Oblivion was easily making its way towards the Tower of Judgement, cutting down the swarms of warriors and citizens who dared to get in their way. The Shadow Knight commanded the legion to split up and annihalate anything that moves, as he lead his own group towards the tower. He easily cut down everything in his path, and instructed his warriors to destroy all the monuments and buildings that they passed, thus leaving a trail of utter destruction in their wake. Finally, The Shadow Knight laid his dark eyes upon the tower, but as he began to step towards it, he noticed 6 figures standing in his way. A wide grin could be seen coming across his face, and he, as well as his group of warriors, began to rush towards the Judgements, the only things standing in their way of completely wiping Heaven off the face of the planet.

Much of the Dark Army was beginning to be pushed back through the gates of Heaven. The might of Heaven's army was apparent, but it seemed as if the Dark Army forces were not concerned with running away, though there were many battles still being waged in Heaven's depths. There seemed to be no end to the Dark Forces that was entering Heaven, but the warriors kept optimistic, there will soon be a deciding victory for them, or so they hoped. The deth rate was increasing every second, and many of the people, including the very warriors who were trying to defend the city and its gates, were fleeing out and hoping to find a scapegoat, or at least a way to hide. But this would turn out to be a huge mistake. For outside the gates of Heaven, a threat, possibly greater than that which was outside the Tower of Judgement, was waiting to ensnare any whom hoped to escape this epic battle.

This is through the eyes of one of the residents of Heaven:
"The city is drenched in the blood of the dead, the stench unbearable. Darkness has now completely overtaken everything, and it looks as if we are all going to be killed. Those who are fleeing the city are either coming back through the gates or have just completely disappeared, but I have no intention of looking any closer. The battles are numerous, and entire families have been wiped out, and friends of ours can be seen lying dead in the streets, it is horrifying! I have no idea how much longer I can hide, but I have to keep quiet, or else........."

Is not lost in the dark, only lost in thought...
